Febe participated in our “Who Are You?” campaign in Cameroon. She took a disposable camera and used it to give us a glimpse into her life. When asked for some words to explain her pictures, she explained that many people rely on her for many things. Febe works in the field, cooks, gathers water and cares for her family and home.

We are so spoiled in North America, too caught up in the pursuit of having things to realize how we already have what we need with the basics of a home, food, clean water, education and work. Your organization provides a look at the lives of others who are not so fortunate but despite that are fulfilled with the bare minimum they have and the hope for a better future… I wish more people could wake up to the fact that more things does not lead to peace of mind or fullness of heart and soul.
