It’s day 3 (of 14) of the Rainmaker Auction on eBay. The dry season has started in South Sudan, which means our Obakki Foundation ground personnel are already on-site preparing to drill. Let’s shine some light on the subject: 6 million people are living without clean water in Sudan as a result of 40 years of civil war. 1 well can supply 1 whole village with clean water. Last season we drill 100 wells. This season our goal is to drill 200. That’s 200 villages with clean water which translates to about 200,000 mothers, children and brothers with a new chance at life. Become a part of that change. Be a RAINMAKER.

When Garth Brooks, the man who made country music “a worldwide phenomenon”, heard about our efforts he decided to donate one of his very own guitars. And because that wasn’t enough, he decided to also personalize a signed message to the winning bidder of this one-of-a kind auction item. Amazing.
