Meet the Donor: Winston

As our donor partner Winston prepared for the trip of a lifetime to see the water well his family had donated in South Sudan, our founder Treana had done what she could to debrief him ahead of time on what South Sudan would hold for him. But as one might expect, the in-person experience was far more emotional and inspiring than anything he could have ever imagined.

As much as Winston was already aware of how much change the platform of water offers, it wasn’t until he saw the joy and life that his generous donation had given that he really fully realized the impact it had made.

Without clean water, a community can’t grow gardens. The children, needing to find water from other villages or wells, can’t go to school. Businesses can’t begin or grow and territorial conflict over wells is rampant.

By simply creating a solution to the most elemental of all human needs, growth in all other areas of life suddenly becomes possible.
