The Heart of Columbus

I know everyone is eager to know how Columbus is doing since our last visit, when I announced that he would finally have the tailor shop he so desperately wanted.
I’m so happy to let you know that Columbus is thriving! His hard work is paying off and his tailoring business is doing better than expected. When I first see Columbus, he presents me – as he always does, regardless of his circumstances – with a gift. He says it is to remind me that I have his heart, now and forever.
Columbus can barely contain his excitement as we enter his tailor shop. It is a small, modest space, but very tidy and well kept. His pride of ownership is obvious. He was overwhelmed when I conveyed the messages of support and love from strangers around the world, and he was eager to respond. Here is Columbus, in his own words…
