Welcome to the Obakki Foundation blog
Over the years that we’ve worked in Africa, the stories and many facets of the communities we’ve worked in have captivated our hearts. From a truly inspiring man in South Sudan who led his community eventually to safety, to the school in Cameroon that gives deaf children the opportunity to become educated, our development work has become abound with these rich narratives and people.
Our charity is fuelled by urgent and very pressing resource crises, but it’s also fuelled by the connections we have to the very people who benefit from the water or education projects we provide.
Join us as we give you an unprecedented look into the reality of development work, the individuals and communities who inspire us, and so much more.
And suddenly you know: It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings. — Meister Eckhart
