Projects through people.
We want you to get to know the people you’re helping. Meet the people we work with, and learn about our programs through their eyes.
Making an impact, one project at a time.
With every project, we aim to address issues of infrastructure and access that communities face in order to arrive at more equitable circumstances. Here are some of our projects, both complete and ongoing, that are having a positive impact on communities.
It is difficult to capture how truly amazing Malou is and how hard this leprosy-affected village has worked toward building a strong, happy community.
Water is a lifeline, an anchor, a starting point from where we begin to create.
Over 800,000 displaced people began the long walk home with little food or water to vote for independence.
In Pancui, a life-giving resource became a source of sorrow.
Adol truly treated the borehole we drilled for them as a platform for growth in all other areas of life.
Livestock Watering Stations
Currently, 80% of internal conflict in South Sudan emanates from cattle camps fighting for water for their cattle and communities.
In their desperation, Nyaga residents were drinking from a contaminated stream or an old hand-dug well that was extremely dangerous. Now, with clean water, the village is thriving.
We drilled a clean water well in Matangai, bringing health to families who had no option but to drink vile swamp water.
When we were first introduced to the village of Malual Chum, residents were using three hand pumps to get their clean water, each located more than four kilometres away in different directions. Now the village has a central clean water well.
Be a part of the change and donate today.
$50 provides clean water for 10 people for life. 10 lives are about to change because of you.
Not only does $100 fund a seed package to help promote agricultural growth in a community, it can also provide 20 people with clean water for life.
$200 provides a community with a bicycle. Without transportation, people spend many hours every day carrying water and transporting other heavy resources by foot. A bicycle allows women to easily get their vegetables to the market, which provides an income for their families.
Your $500 donation provides an entire community with agricultural training. This includes education and tools, and resources to grow their own food, keeping their families healthy and selling surplus produce to earn an income.
Your generous donation will provide a hearing-impaired child with education, housing, food and more for an entire year at Buea School for the Deaf.
100% of your donation goes directly to our humanitarian work. Every dollar that's donated to our life-saving projects makes an impact by giving people the resources they need to thrive.
